Learning outcomes

MM -Knowledge of the main cardiac diseases and the cardiovascular effects of physical activity on both physiological and pathological context.

MM- To teach students the basics of pharmacology important for the understanding of the risks and benefits associated with the use of drugs and substances. The course examines the mechanisms of action, effects, pharmacokinetics and adverse reactions of drugs with particular reference to some of the most commonly used classes in motor and sport environments. Thus, the student will acquire the capacity of critical appraisal about substance use issues in order to become an educational and cultural reference person.
