Learning outcomes

The course is an introduction to the multimodal analysis and its application to the investigation of linguistics and graphic arts. Exemplifying from classical texts and popular culture production in English, the course aims to illustrate the way multimodal semiotic resources are used as interpretation and their appeal to contemporary readers/viewers.

Examination Methods

The exam consists of an oral interview in English.
