Learning objectives

Main class’ purpouse is to introduce students to the most common analysis methodologies of italian and european work of art. To be more specific: stilistic, historical, technical and iconography aspects. In this way students are going to learn an accurate way of speaking that will allows them to analyse works of art of any spatial and historic context, individually and in fully autonomy. A particular attention is dedicated to how the work of art was realized, in relationship with the context in which it was produced, and how it is now show to the public. This way of proceeding is essential to guarantee a better comprehension of subjects in which students are graduating.
