Module: TEORIE E TECNICHE DEL SERVIZIO SOCIALE 1

The course aims at providing students with theoretical knowledge on the intervention method with people, according to the bifocal perspective of social work: person-environment interactions. Students will be given also the theoretical support necessary to adjust the territory to social workers operating and to acquire project management skills, involving the network of services and people in order to promote their development and growth.
A particular attention will be devoted to social network as a reading key and as a method to be used with the individual, with the community and with the different health and social care services of the territory.
During the lessons, students will be actively involved in workgroups on the subjects examined for further in-depth examination; they will have the opportunity to meet some social workers and some representatives of projects and social interventions so as to see theoretical concepts translated into professional practice.


Module: LABORATORIO DI GUIDA AL TIROCINIO 1

The laboratory of training develops him in the second and third year of the Course in Sciences of the Social Work. It foresees the subdivision of the course in different groups of students of the zones of origin. Every group is conducted by an university tutor social worker. The tutors facilitate in the students the learning of the job integrating it with the theory of the lessons. It is place of exercises where the student can learn the method of the process of help with the people. It is a learning "protected" because the study and the exercises direct the student toward the job in the social work.
During the meetings of laboratory will be developed by social workers.

• The social work and the job on the territory in Italy: historical and methodological evolution.
• Theoretical and methodological reference elements for social work interventions on the territory
• Theoretical orientations and operational models concerning especially networking within social work.
• Working by projects in the social field: specificities and elements of project management.
• Group work in the social field: historical evolution, type of groups, planning and management of group work.

Through meetings of group the laboratory makes to learn to the students the abilities for: to analyze the organizational reality; to individualize the typology of patient and the modality of job; to analyze the system of the resources; to analyze the territorial community; to use the tools proper of the professional administrative activity; to practice the observation and the reflection; to analyze her/it "day type" of a social worker; to elaborate the documentation; to know the load of job; to collect the question; to collect and to organize the information for the individualization of the problems; to identify and to define the hypothesis of the problem; to plan the intervention and to involve the consumer to retrieve the formal and informal resources; to plan and to verify the intervention.
