Learning outcomes

Module: PSICOLOGIA DELLO SVILUPPO
-------
The fundamental part of this course, focused on Developmental Psychology, is aimed to provide students with a basic knowledge and conceptual and methodological tools for understanding the main developmental processes in different psychological domains (motor, perceptive, socioemotional, communicative-linguistic, and cognitive domains) from prenatal life to adolescence.
In particular, this part is aimed to promote the consideration of human development as a complex dynamic process that emerges from the interaction between biological and environmental factors. Moreover, it shares with the second part (on Education Psychology) the aim to sensitize the students to the observation of child development in educational contexts.

Module: PSICOLOGIA DELL'EDUCAZIONE
-------
Educational Psychology applies knowledge of mental development processes to study learning in educational contexts. This second part of the course - tightly integrated with the first one - is aimed to provide students with a basic knowledge and conceptual and methodological tools for understanding learning processes promoted within school and other educational contexts, taking into consideration sociocognitive-, metacognitive-, and motivational aspects.
On the whole, the course of Developmental and Educational Psychology is aimed to promote reflections on the relationship between development and learning, as well as to sensitize students to the observation of developmental and learning processes in educational contexts.

  • fare esperienza diretta di attività professionali, che richiedono un livello di preparazione al lavoro educativo;
  • approfondire in particolare il rapporto tra preparazione teorica, acquisita mediante lo studio, ed esperienza pratica, tra mondo del sapere e della cultura e mondo del lavoro e delle professioni;
