Program
The aim is to present the course participants with a social, historical and cultural overview of the publishing world from the late 19th century to the 2000s. The focus will also be drawn to the publishing mechanisms that connect the author with the readers through the text itself.

Didactic methods
Attendance is highly recommended; the contents will be the subject of lectures and meetings with industry experts
Learning assessment procedures
The exam will be oral and carried out to ascertain the knowledge of the basic concepts, of the context in which the publishers found themselves operating, the cultural choices that inspired them to build their catalog and the chronological passages that saw them as protagonists.
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation will be out of thirty and the knowledge and skills acquired as well as an adequate exposition capacity will be evaluated.
