Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Il corso si propone in maniera essenziale di fornire le conoscenze basilari per un approccio critico alle teorie d’impresa e quindi in senso più lato alle teorie economiche. Troppo spesso nell’ambito della formazione universitaria è trascurata sia la consapevolezza epistemologica degli apporti teorici, sia un approccio storico (diacronico) alle problematiche economico-aziendali che consenta di sviluppare un’attitudine sia non assolutizzare nessuna teoria e come a porsi in un atteggiamento di completa disponibilità verso l’innovazione sia in campo teorico come in campo pratico.

Il programma del corso è giocoforza limitato, ma contiene:
1. Cenni di epistemologia delle scienze economiche
2. Teorie dell’impresa: classica, neoclassica. Critiche e limiti.
3. Frank Knight su rischio e incertezza
4. Ronald Coase, la teoria dell’impresa e i problemi del broadcasting
5. Joseph Schumpeter: imprenditorialità, ciclo economico e organizzazione della produzione
6. Elementi essenziali sulla teoria classica del capitale e del profitto nel XX secolo
7. Elementi essenziali di teoria del business cycle nel XX secolo
8. Alfred Chandler jr e la rivoluzione manageriale
Examination Methods
Gli studenti prepareranno un paper di venticinque pagine, che verrà concordato e discusso con il docente. Tale paper costituisce la prova d’esame per l’assegnazione dei crediti.
