Examination Methods
The exam, in the form of a written test, is aimed at ascertaining the breadth and depth of the knowledge gained on the topics in the program, as well as the property of language, the terminological precision and the ability to connect the acquired knowledge in a systemic way.
The exam consists of a written test and a paper, both in the Spanish language.
In the written test there will be questions (of short answer) and textual analysis. It will be based on the aspects treated throughout the course, in the bibliography and in the teaching materials that will be posted on the Moodle platform.
The work consists in the translation from Spanish to Italian of a specialized text of tourist or commercial scope (to be agreed with the teacher) accompanied by a critical comment.
The final grade will be obtained from the average between the written test and the work and will be communicated by means of a notice on the website of the Department.
Students who attend classes regularly will also be assessed through partial tests throughout the course, oral (one presentation) and written.
Students who do not attend class and Erasmus students are asked to contact the teacher during tutorials or through institutional email.
Students will be able to take Variety of Spanish 2 test only after having passed Spanish Varieties 1.
In relation to the situation deriving from the Coronavirus emergency, the examination procedure indicated above is changed for the 2020 summer and fall sessions, in accordance with the indications of the University, in an oral interview via ZOOM on the topics and the bibliography of the teaching.
