Learning outcomes
The course provides knowledge and methods to develop an educational project in the healthcare context, to critically appraise the different approaches of education, to use interactive teaching methodologies, to deepen the evaluation process, and to acquire research skills in the field of education (qualitative research)
The course is divided into the following modules:
-health pedagogy
- methodology of qualitative research
- planning and management of training processes
For a total of 8 ECTS credits .
Program
Planning and management of training processes:
- analysis of the training needs
- core curriculum of qualifying nursing and obstetric education; hidden curriculum;
- objectives; taxonomies; learning outcomes; dublin descriptors;
- didactic methodologies: interactive lesson, case method, simulations, role playing, problem based learning (PBL), narrative and autobiographical methods;
- evaluation process in education: aims, tools, types of tests; conducting of learning groups;
Qualitative research: phenomenological approach, ethnographic, grounded theory, reflective diary, caring in nursing.

Examination Methods
The exam consists in a written test with open questions and an oral examination to assess the knowledge and methods learned and their applications.
