Program

Overview of the guideline development process from question formulation all the way to recommendation development.
Methods to facilitate the introduction of guidelines in practice: dissemination and implementation
Evidence that guideline based care can change clinical practice and patient outcomes
During the course the group will be accompanied to use the guidelines for making decisions

Didactic methods

Teaching activities are structured into lectures and exercises on the interpretation and application of a guideline

Learning assessment procedures

The exam consists of a written test aimed at ascertaining both the knowledge and its application. The students are presented with extracts of guidelines to be interpreted and used in a short clinical scenario

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Each question is assigned a score of 1 to 3 points with a global max of 31 and the student must have achieved a minimum acceptable level of 60%
