Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student must (1) know the linguistic tools needed to read and interpret the scientific literature in their field of rehabilitation; (2) develop and apply reading and comprehension methods; (3) understand the structure of written and oral scientific language; (4) reformulate the contents of their research in a written format.

Symptoms and signs, basic investigations
Taking a history, physical and mental examination
The nervous systems
Speech and language, language acquisition, multi-language assessment, speech and language deficits
Explaining diagnosis and management, discussing treatments
Clinical scientific research: epidemiology, research studies, ethics

Reading and comprehension of selected scientific papers (systematic review, research study, case report, editorial)
