Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to give to the students the basic knowledge of the most important medico legal issues which they will face as nurses. In particular the course will be focused on the issues concerning the informed consent and the activity of reporting medical information to the Prosecutor.

Reporting medical information to the Prosecutor’s Office and to the Health Care Administration
Signs of death and certification of death
Main Laws of medico legal interest: abortion, sexual assaults, compulsory medical treatment.
Principles of legal responsibility in cases of medical malpractice.
