Learning outcomes

Acquire basic knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system
Acquire the basic knowledge of the main neurological syndromes and what interventions are of the utmost nursing competence

Program

Anatomy and physiology of the central and peripheral nervous system with particular attention to:
- pyramidal paths
- extrapiramidal routes
- pathways of superficial,proprioceptive, thermal and painful sensitivity,
- skull nerves
Neurological semeiotic
Outbreaks of central and peripheral nervous system disorders:
-Multiple sclerosis
-Parkinson's disease and motion disorders
-Alzheimer's and dementia
-Epilepsy
-CNS circulatory disorders
-Disturbances of consciousness
