Learning outcomes
Provide students with technical, practical, relational, problem-solving and organizational skills in protected contexts, before trying in the services and directly on patients, in order to reduce the emotional impact that comes from being in real situations and ensuring ethical and patient safety. For these reasons, professional laboratories are a prerequisite for the clinical training. In addition, laboratories offer students the opportunity to train theirselves in applying theoretical principles to clinical practice.
Program
The skills considered essential in the third year are: techniques (such as immobilization of the traumatized person, ...), assessment and objective examination, safety ( the safe management of drug therapy in intensive care units), professional communication, organization and planning of the nursing care, evidence based approach, information and education of students.
Examination Methods
At the end of the course year, the teacher will formulate the "approved" judgment on the examination report, taking into account the regular (100%) and certified attendance of the student to the laboratories, with any possible recovery of absences and gaps in the individual skills.
