Program
The course is aimed to increase the knowledge on the main medical urgencies and emergencies, including early recognition of life-threatening conditions, differential deiagnosis and treatment with particular reference to the specific role of the nurse. Syllabus
Diagnostic and therapeutic approach to the patient with
- chest pain and acute coronary syndromes
- hypertensive emergencies and aortic dissection
- Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism,
- pulmonary edema,
- metabolic coma, diabetic coma,
- main intoxications and poisoning.
