Learning outcomes
The teaching aims to examine in depth various important clinical situation in a supporting view, developing it with a surgical and nursing approach. Patient’s problems will be approached considering their evolution, the patient’s rational evaluation and the choice of helpful caring based on evidences, pertinence and patient’s needs. This teaching is based on surgical nursing knowledges, on nursing, surveillance, physiology, physiopathology and general pathology precepts learned in the 1st year

Perioperative nursing based on fast track surgery reccomandation and ERAS philosophy
Post-operative “in – room” patient’s surveillance (surgical theatre)
Postoperative patient’s management (ward room)
Stomiatoidic patient’s support and education
Limb-immobilized patient’s support and education
Support to patients with hepatobiliary disease
Supporting and educative pathway for mastectomy/hemicolectomy/gastrectomy patient or with hip prosthesis
