Learning objectives
The second year laboratories aim to help students to acquire basic obstetric care skills and midwifery management in simulation contexts.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Having attended the preparatory teaching subject for the laboratory
Program
- Consolidate the knowledge previously acquired relating to Leopold's maneuvers and vaginal exploration
- Acquire knowledge and skills relating to the reception, control and monitoring of the patient following vaginal birth and caesarean section and of the newborn
- Acquire knowledge and skills regarding the information to be provided to the woman and the communication method
