Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the student will have acquired the principles of screening, diagnosis and therapy of the malignant diseases of the female genital tract.
Program
Basic principles of Gynecologic Oncology and screening methodologies will be discussed. Clinical features, diagnostic exams, therapeutic approaches and prognosis of the three most common gynecologic malignancies (Endometrial, Cervical and Ovarian Cancers) will be treated in depth. Rare gynecologic neoplastic affections will be surveyed, in order to give a broad picture of all the possible clinical presentations of gynecologic cancer.
