Learning outcomes

Skills
The goal is the formation of the ability of independent analysis in the evaluation of bioethical problems in the practice of midewifery and the capacity of taking adequate actions.

2) The four principles of medical ethics
3) Fundamental perspectives in the Bioethical debate: sanctity of life and quality of life
4) Doctor-patient relationship: medical paternalism and informed consent
5) Bioethics at the beginning of life: abortion and assisted reproduction
6) Bioethics at the end of life: case reports
