Learning outcomes

Provide Students with the knowledge necessary to understand the FUNCTIONS of the lower urinary tract and the corresponding DYSFUNCTION. It is the study of the "Functional Urology" which involves various rehabilitation treatment approaches.

Program

Anatomy and physiology of the lower urinary tract
• Functional anatomy of the pelvic floor, the rectal and genital system
• Dysfunction of lower urinary tract
• Clinical and instrumental evaluation of vesicoureteral sfintero-perineal dysfunction:
• Physical examination neuro-uro-gynecological
• diagnostic tools (symptom score, pad test, voiding diary)
• imaging Pelviperineal; urodynamic evaluation; electrophysiological tests
• Urinary incontinence and overactive bladder
• Neurological Bladder
• Urinary retention
• Chronic pelvic pain
