Learning outcomes

Learning some basic theoretical concepts about major cognitive-behavioral techniques.
Learing some practical applications about major cognitive-behavioral techniques in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation.

Program

Introduction and presentation of presentation of the lessons program. Introduction to various psychotherapeutic approaches, the efficacy of psychotherapies. Theory and techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy. The origin and development of cognitive psychology. Basic principles. Main cognitive and behavioral techniques. The help of cognitive behavioral techniques in coping with emotions.
Cognitive behavioral therapy in anxiety disorders. The ABC model. Exercises.
Cognitive behavioral therapy in depression disorders. The prevention of recurrence in patients with depression. Introduction to mindfulness with practical exercise.
Cognitive behavioral cognitive therapy of bipolar disorder. An example of psychoeducation group for patient with bipolar disorder.
Cognitive behavioral therapy for personality disorders. Major theoretical and technical approaches. The metacognitve and interpersonal cycles. Skills training for personality borderline disturbance. Exercises on the main skills used in DBT (Dialectical-Behavior Therapy).
Cognitive behavioral therapy in psychotic disorders. The model stress-vulnerability in psychosis. Cognitive models of psychosis. Main intervention techniques for individuals and groups. Social skills training for psychotic disorders.
Cognitive behavioral therapy in eating disorders: specific techniques and rehabilitation applications.
