Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide the coordinates for reading and understanding the organizational contexts of social and social-health services.
At the end of the course students are expected to be able to recognize and analyze differentiated organizational models, identifying the actors, functions and competences that they belong to, as well as identifying tools that allow optimal programming, management and provision of services.

Program

The course aims to facilitate the acquisition of interpretations to approach the topic of the organization of social services.
To this end, the fundamental elements for reading and understanding the organizational contexts of personal services will be presented: reference regulatory framework; evolution of the organization of social-assistance services; characteristics of the different actors of the welfare system that provide social services; planning path of social services at state, regional and local level, with particular attention to the subsidiary and integration dynamics and to the levels of planning and provision of social and social-health services; areas of intervention.
In agreement with the students, in-depth analysis will be proposed on some areas of intervention (elderly, minors, disabled people, etc.), with reference to the service networks present in some local contexts
