Learning outcomes

The course has the following training objectives:
-provide a historical and theoretical framework of the models of community psychiatry
- obtain a good general understanding of strategies for planning interventions on the territory
- illustrate the different articulations of the care pathways of territorial issues
- provide basic information on psychotherapeutic approaches, with particular reference to psychoeducation in severe disorders and to the assertive community treatment for the management of severe patients
- illustrate the main ways of managing aggression

General framework of the models of community psychiatry
The organization of the Community Psichiatric Services in Italy
Actions against the stigma.
Methods for reviewing practices and evaluating the outcome
Taking care of patients and their families.
Models of psychosocial intervention.
Family psychoeducation
