Learning outcomes

Providing basic concepts, useful concepts and tools to understand the community psychiatry, the theoretical foundations upon which it is based and practical-rehabilitative interventions planned and implemented by the Mental Health Department.

Program

Community’s intervention: theoretical approaches, guiding principles, key concepts.
Networking, formal and informal networks.
Invito alla Vita: a community’s project to prevent the suicidal phenomenon in the Province of Trento
The relationship between the Mental Health Department and the neighbouring socio-health services (general medicine practice, social services, addiction programs, psychology, child psychology, residential care institutions…)
The role of the case manager
Some key concepts about socio-health integration
The role of the support administrator inside the treatment’s network
The interest promoters inside the mental health area.
The promotion of health inside the community, the collaboration with citizens and associations.
