Learning outcomes
Taking and managing the patient both in the radiology room and in the operating units considering the patient's needs
Program
Patient in radiology: Maslow's theory of needs and interactions with the sick person;
(ICPA), the infectious chain, standard ICPA reduction precautions: hand hygiene, personal protective equipment or barrier systems (gloves, overalls, facial and respiratory protection), instrument management and equipment for patient care, waste management;
The safety of the nursing environment: the concept of risk, risk classification, environmental hazards, treatments and diagnostic procedures, operator safety (chemical risk, use of disinfectants and detergents, prevention of manual handling risk loads) patient safety (risk and adverse events, prevention of falls in the care environment, assistance to the fallen patient);
Patient management with particular reference to SNG, CVP, CVC, arterial catheter, thoracic and abdominal drainage, bladder catheter; measurement of vital signs: FC, FR, PA, TC, pain. The course also provides a practical, practical exercise to acquire technical / gestational skills: wear sterile gloves; Hand hygiene techniques: social washing and clutching of hands with hydro-alcoholic gel; measurement of FC, FR and PA; mobilization of the patient.
