The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Program
Module 1. Sociology
Part 1: Sociology of risk. The course will focus on the sociological analysis of the concepts of risk and safety. Different theoretical perspectives on risk society and security as a social construction will be presented.
Topics covered during the course:
- Introduction and analysis of the concepts of risk and safety from a sociological perspective.
- Introduction to the concepts of information, interaction and communication.
- Analysis of risk communication processes.
- The concept of risk society and the change in the concept of risk in the light of sociological theory.
- The concept of safety and risk as a social construction.
Part 2: Sociology of organization and organizational communication. The course will focus on the topic of communication within organizations, on communication methods in light of new technologies.

The course intends to provide on the one hand a methodological introduction, to bring students closer to the scientific study of work behaviors and attitudes, and on the other it will focus on work-related stress as an emerging phenomenon.
In particular, the course will be structured as follows:

- description of the antecedents and consequences of the stress phenomenon

- how to set up a work-related stress assessment
