Learning objectives
The main aims of the course are as follows: 1. To introduce and practice Healthy and Safety terminology; 2. To develop the four skills- listening, speaking, reading, writing-with particular attentionpaid to text comprehension; 3. Analysis of authentic material to carry out research, build on and consolidate grammatical structure, register and lexis; 4. Improve English-Italian translational ability.
Prerequisites and basic notions
English Competence: B1 Level
Program
The course will focus on the consolidation of the technical language related to health and safety and on the reading and comprehension of scientific articles. Active involvement will be required during the lessons, in order to practise the language by means of personal and group works (presentations and analysis of case studies)
