Learning outcomes

Fornire agli Studenti conoscenze riguardanti l'epidemiologia delle principali malattie infettive, soprattutto quelle a trasmissione aerea, parenterale e per contatto diretto, definendo il rischio professionale ad esse connesso e le eventuali strategie preventive disponibili.

Program

Polmoniti; tubercolosi polmonare ed extra-polmonare; influenza; infezione da HIV e AIDS; epatiti virali a trasmissione parenterale (HBV, HCV); meningiti batteriche


• L'infezione da HIV, con particolare riguardo alle modalità di trasmissione, alla storia naturale ed alla prevenzione
• Le epatiti virali (da virus B,C), la loro evolutività e le vaccinazioni disponibili
• Le meningiti batteriche, con particolare riguardo al rischio di trasmissione
• La tubercolosi (con particolare riguardo al rischio di trasmissione)
• Le infezioni delle basse vie respiratorie (polmoniti) e sindrome influenzale (con particolare attenzione all’influenza suina)
• Le infezioni nosocomiali
• La prevenzione del rischio infettivo in ambiente ospedaliero
