GENERAL PRINCIPLES AND THE SAFETY OF DRUGS The context of drug use in Italy: introduction on the market and role of the EMA, supply, reimbursement, prescription and dispensing, special uses (off-label, compassionate use, etc.)
Adverse drug reactions: methodologies for identification and causality assessment evaluation
preventable adverse reactions: definitions and examples
Drug interactions: management and mechanisms
Recognition and therapeutic reconciliation: criteria of appropriate prescribing, discussion of clinical cases
