Learning outcomes
The course aims at providing students with fundamentals for the comprehension of the applicative potentials and the innovative abilities of biotechnologies for the exploitation of enzymes in the industrial field. In particular, the aims of the course regard the comprehension of the methodologies used for the development and the production of enzymes in industrial scale, the knowledge about the exploitation potential of protein biotechnologies in the industrial, diagnostic, and therapeutic fields, as well as the capability of utilizing biochemical techniques for the purification, the analysis and the exploitation of enzymes.
