Learning assessment procedures
Students will be assessed through:
- A teamwork. The teamwork consists in the analysis of the business model, the organizational structure and the governance of a multinational corporation. It provides for:
The drafting of a 10 pages report (in word or pdf), which is due towards the end of the course;
The in-class/online presentation of 3 to 5 slides which key aspects of the case analyzed (around 10 minutes per team).
- An individual exam. The individual exam is a written test on the whole program. It is structured into two parts:
the first part includes 10 multiple-choice or true/false questions; the second part includes 2 semi-open questions and may include case analysis.
For those students who cannot take part in the teamwork (because of working reasons or other objective reasons), the assessment is carried out through the individual exam.
Evaluation criteria
The team work aims at assessing the capability acquired in performing and discussing a business case. Furthermore, the capabilities will be assessed, both individually and collectively, in interpreting a business case, in communicating with the group members and in written and oral communications.
It will provide students with maximum 3/30 points.
The individual exam aims at assessing the knowledge of the topics studied during the course. The exam provides students with maximum 30/30 points.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final mark is obtained by the sum of the two partial points (written test and team work).
