Learning outcomes

An introduction to Spanish phonetics and phonology.

Program

SYLLABUS
The course intends to outline the phonetic and phonological systems of contemporary standard Spanish, as well as of its main varieties. The fundamental concepts of Spanish phonetics, exemplified in detail with transcriptions, as well as those elements emerging from a contrastive analysis between the Italian and the Spanish systems, will be examined.

Examination Methods

LINGUISTIC COMPETENCE REQUIRED
Level 3 (ALTE ), B2 (Council of Europe).
Assessment of linguistic competence will be based on certificates issued by the CLA (University Linguistic Centre) or by the Instituto Cervantes.

RECOMMENDATIONS REGARDING THE LINGUISTIC SKILLS CERTIFICATION - WRITTEN TEST AND REGISTRATION
We would like to remind the students that, where exams and and registrations should take place, lectures are charged to check only the results concerning linguistic certificate (CLA test) carried out during the same exam session.
Therefore, the students that have got the linguistic competence, introductory to the Spanish language written test, during the previous CLA sessions shall ask for a paper copy of the certificate in the testing office before coming to the test or the registration previously taken. In case of absence of the certificate, neither the registration nor the test will take place.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Stage e tirocini

Le attività di stage sono finalizzate a far acquisire allo studente una conoscenza diretta in settori di particolare interesse per l’inserimento nel mondo del lavoro e per l’acquisizione di abilità professionali specifiche.
Le attività di stage sono svolte sotto la diretta responsabilità di un singolo docente presso studi professionali, enti della pubblica amministrazione, aziende accreditate dall’Ateneo veronese.
I crediti maturati in seguito ad attività di stage saranno attribuiti secondo quanto disposto nel dettaglio dal “Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari” vigente.
