Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the study of 17th-century Spanish literature and culture, with special reference to theatre (Lope de Vega, Peribáñez y el Comendador de Ocaña, Tirso de Molina, El burlador de Sevilla).

Examination Methods
Oral exam in the Spanish language (books in Italian in the reading list will however be discussed in Italian). Students’ proficiency in the Spanish language will also be tested (through reading, translation and discussion of the set books). A minimum level of B2 is required. Students who attend regularly the course might be given the possibility of taking a written test before the end of the course: this possibility will be discussed with the students during the course. Students who are not able to attend the course must contact the teacher.
