The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning outcomes
Module: METODOLOGIA EPIDEMIOLOGICA E IGIENE GENERALE
-------
The course provides the ways and means of prevention of infectious diseases in early childhood. It also provides information about the role of midwives in the primary and secondary prevention.
The student must acquire knowledge and skills suitable to the prevention of communicable diseases in an obstetric unit and in the delivery room.
Module: PROMOZIONE ED EDUCAZIONE ALLA SALUTE DELLA DONNA E DEL BAMBINO
-------
Knowledge of the main reference theories on the concept of health
Learn about the issues and problems related to the location birth and maternal and child health.
Deepen the path that goes from prevention before starting a pregnancy, up to children's health.
Module: PREVENZIONE SERVIZI SANITARI E RADIOPROTEZIONE
-------
The goal of this module is to allow students at the end of the course using the knowledge of physics, biology, and physical health to know and understand under the provisions of law on radiation protection.
The different types of dose quantities
The instruments to measure them in the area of worker radiation protection,
The procedures avoiding external exposure and internal contamination
The biological effects of ionizing radiation.
The application of the radiation protection in the environment and in the workplace.
Module: MICROBIOLOGIA CLINICA
-------
The student should know the structural and biological properties of pathological bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses and the related mechanism of pathogenesis. Moreover, the student should know the microorganisms involved in gynecologic diseases and the methods of infection diagnosis.
Program
Module: METODOLOGIA EPIDEMIOLOGICA E IGIENE GENERALE

• Onset of disease models.
• Prophylaxis of infectious diseases:
- generic direct prophylaxis:
- diagnostic assessment
- isolation
- notification
- epidemiological survey
- specific direct prophylaxis:
- vaccine prophylaxis
