Pathophysiology of hematopoiesis and hemostasis. Interpretation of hemogram. Fundamental concepts concerning classification, etiopathogenesis and clinical aspects of principal hematological diseases of obstetrical/gynecological interest, namely anemias, iron metabolism, thrombocytopenias, coagulation disorders, leukemias, lymphomas and stem cell transplantation.

Introduction to Pathological Anatomy with exposure and explanation of the techniques and the meaning of the processes. Brief classifications of neoplasms of the female genital tract, starting from vulva, cervix, uterine body, ovaries and tubas. Explanation of how evaluate the abortive material for better understanding of trophoblastic neoplasms.
