Provide the students with the tools to analyze the mechanisms by which the newspapers contribute to the formation of the public opinion in an historical perspective

Requirements in advance: Good knowledge of Italian language (reading). Elementary knowledge of Early Modern and Modern European History
Course description:
- The newspapers from the origins to Internet: development of journalism, primarily in Italy, with attention to the economic, social and political factors which contributed to change the journalistic techniques, the profession of journalist and the newspaper functions
