Learning outcomes

Theorical fondaments and tecnical ability of intercultural journalism. Two topics: intercultural diversity in the media; and crime and justice in the media.

Program

Pre-requisites: high competence in Italian language; awareness of social themes and the intercultural dialogue; interest in newspaper analysis, journalism and multimedia in a multicultural society.

Course content: analysis of journalist texts about cultural diversity; intercultural media relations in a press office; web writing for intercultural journalism; critical analysis of a criminal case and its depiction through the media.
