Learning outcomes
The course aims at providing critical and methodological tools for investigating politically related issues within the frame of the history of political doctrines and institutions.
Program
The course aims at an understanding of contemporary Politics, analyzed using a variety of doctrinological and institutional sources, with an interdisciplinary method. The many links between political ideas and political isntitutions, between theory and action, will be the focus. The main topics addressed are: political thought and institutions from XIX up to XX century and transformations of democracy in contemporary world.
