Learning outcomes
The goal of the event is to understand the principles of electrocardiography and learn a step-by-step approach to the ECG.
Program
1.Basic Principles of ECG
• Anatomy and basic physiology
• Action potential-depolarization and repolarization
• The conduction system of the heart
• Recording a voltage by external electrodes- Time interval rate
• Leads according to Einthoven-Augmented Limb Leads according to Golberger and Precordial Leads-Standard-Normal position of precordial electrodes
• The resultant Heart Vector
• The components of the ECG waves and interval (P wave-QRS complex-T wave- PR interval-QT interval)
• Sinus rhythm-sinus tachycardia-sinus bradycardia.
• Registration of an ECG-common errors in recording ECG
2.ECG in ischemic heart disease
• Electrophhysiologic concepts of ischemia
• ST segment and T wave changes during ischemia
• Manifestation of acute ST elevetion
• Q waves in STEMI
• Localization of STEMI.
3.Atrial and ventricular rhythm disorders
• Supraventricular extrasystole
• Supraventricular tachyarrhytmias
• Atrial fibrillation
• Atrial flutter
• Premature ventricular complexes
• Ventricular tachycardia
• Ventricular flutter
4.Atrioventricular Block
• First-degree AV block
• Second-degree AV block type I and type II
• 2:1 and advanced second degree AV block
• 3rd degree AV block
• Intraventricular conduction defects (bundle branch block-hemiblock)
