Learning outcomes

This activity has been developed for students that, at the end of the medcial school, are interested in sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Each module will cover a particular STI or a specific set of STIs that will be presented considering both technical (epidemiological, diagnosis and clinical) and psycho-social aspects. A peculiar aspect of STIs is indeed the mutidisplinarity and the related need of a multilevel, integrated approach.
To provide medical students a touch of real-life experience, we will invite trainees in Infectious Diseases (HIV/STIs Unit) to make them talk on the most touching and challenging stories they have been in touch with and the way they found to cope with them.
