Learning outcomes
The course aims to provide the knowledge related to the analysis of the types and causes of different organic and psychic disabilities and the tools useful for treating addictions and related alcohol disorders. MODULE OF PSYCHOLOGY OF DRUG ADDICTION AND RELATED ALCOHOL DISORDERS Educational objectives: • Knowing how to define the concept of dependence on psychoactive substances and the possible psychopathological meanings underlying it according to the main theories of reference. • Knowing how to identify some critical areas related to the therapeutic relationship with the drug-dependent and alcohol-dependent patient. • Knowing how to define the main guidelines for the treatment of drug addiction and related alcohol problems. • Knowing how to grasp the connection between psychoactive substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. MODULE OF PSYCHOLOGY AND PSYCHOPEDAGOGY OF THE HANDICAP Training objectives: Analysis of the types and causes of different disabilities, both of organic and psychic origin and intervention modalities oriented to a holistic vision of the Person. In a specific epistemological framework that distinguishes the deficit from the handicap, the inherent and induced handicaps will be highlighted and the different approaches will be faced in the light of the pedagogical model to favor the increase in development of each individual subject.
Program
Knowing how to define the concept of addiction to psychoactive substances and the possible psychopathological meanings underlying it according to the main theories of reference.
• Identify common areas of concern related to the therapeutic relationship with the addict and alcohol dependence patient.
• Being able to define the main guidelines for the treatment of drug addiction and alcohol-related problems.
• Being able to grasp the connection between addiction to psychoactive substances and psychiatric comorbidity.
• Evolution of the main theoretical models related to dependence on psychoactive substances; framing the concept of addiction; diagnostic classification; etiology and theories on addiction; characteristics of the patient's request for aid dependent; guidelines for the therapeutic response; description of the services that deal with drug and alcohol problems; guidance on good practice for • operators.
Study of clinical cases as examples.
