Program

French literature and the sea

The relationship between literature and the sea will be studied from touristic, economic, historical, political, socio-cultural, thematic or intertextual points of view, considering also the relationship with the ailleurs. At the end of the course, students will know, from historical and cultural points of view, the main literary movements and texts of the 19th Century, after the critical analyses of important authors and works. The course will be held in Italian, but all the texts will be read in French.
