Learning objectives
The course aims at providing students with notions and institutes that are required to understand the legal framework that governs public companies and public services. The course will offer to students the necessary critical and argumentative tools to analyse and deal with complex operative issues in this area. The course's goal is also to enable students to make systematic connections between the various fundamental legal categories of administrative law in order to critically assess the evolutive trend of this particular field of law.
Prerequisites and basic notions
Passed the Administrative Law exam.
Program
The course deals with the issue of public service activity carried out by public administrations, as an activity distinct from the traditional authoritative one. The course will cover all the methods and tools, of administrative law and civil and corporate law, through which public administrations organize and manage public services in our country. Since public companies are the protagonists of the management of public services today, the course will also focus on this specific figure, which is constantly at the center of doctrinal and jurisprudential evolution.

Oral examination. The oral exam is functional to ascertain a critical knowledge of the fundamental characteristics of public service law as well as the ability to study its evolution through direct access and understanding of the sentences of the Tars and the Council of State.
