Learning objectives

The student will learn the morphological alterations at the cellular and tissutal level that occur in disease. He will understand the distinctive features concurring to the genesis of inflammatory, neoplastic, and degenerative diseases. The molecular basis of these alterations will be emphasized and the tecnhics permitting their recognition will be demonstrated as well as their application for the purposes of research and patient care

The teacher delivers the list of exam questions at the end of the course. Comprehensive answers are expected to the two or three questions that will be asked.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

Comprehensive and thorough answers = 26-30 Sufficient answers demonstrating basic knowledge = 18-21
