This will be followed by an in-depth description of clinical and translational research in the oncology field, in particular about lung and gastrointestinal neoplasms, which will be integrated with the participation to a 'real' molecular-tumor-board includgin the discussion of clinical cases, in order to to provide students with concrete examples to evaluate and analyze the meaning of precision oncology in clinical practice .
Finally, the course will focus on the re-proposal and analysis of the course of oncological disease to allow students to understand the rationale behind simultaneous care, the specific clinical-organizational needs the oncological patient experiences and their optimal management according to the different phases of the disease.
