Learning objectives

The course aims to give students the knowledge and skills in methods and techniques for physical conditioning of training for injury prevention on outdoor activities and mountain sports

Prerequisites and basic notions

Basic knowledge in exercise physiology and movement / biomechanics analysis, training evaluation and planning

Program

The integrated course includes a series of specific disciplines of mountain sports, natural environments, and winter sports which are analyzed in the fundamental aspects and in the methods of training and physical preparation.

Didactic methods

The course consists of lectures and practical exercises specific to the sports covered

Learning assessment procedures

The test will consist of a single written test consisting of multiple choice questions both for the general aspects and for each of the disciplines covered by the course

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Each correct answer will be awarded 1 point, 0 points for an incorrect answer.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

the final grade will be calculated by comparing the maximum score obtainable in the multiple choice test to a value of 31/30 (30 cum laude)
