Learning objectives
The course is intended to provide the student with the knowledge of the alternative means of settling labour disputes and of the rules governing the labour proceedings.
At the end of the course, the student will be able to analyse and eleborate on the procedural rules protecting the relationships referred to in Article 409 of the civil procedural code and those regulating the special law for dismissals; to set out, in written and oral form, also through group work, the solution of actual issues; to use the appropriate and specific legal jargon; to adopt the correct lines of reasoning and argumentation, formulating autonomous judgments and verifying the relevant practical and applicative consequences.
Prerequisites and basic notions
A preliminary knowledge of the fundamental principles of Italian civil procedural law and labor law is highly recommended.

Didactic methods
The teacher will use: a) frontal lectures; b) thematic insights proposed to students through the study of cases and particularly significant decisions.
TEACHING - METHODS OF DELIVERY
The lessons, in compliance with the University guidelines, will be held in the presence. The video recordings will be made available, upon request, only to students who are in particular situations of fragility due to disabilities or learning disabilities as well as to those in isolation due to Covid-19.
Learning assessment procedures
Oral test lasting 15/20 minutes without distinction between attending students, non-attending students and Erasmus students.
Evaluation criteria
The oral test consists of an interview aimed at evaluating: the acquired knowledge and the ability to organize them discursively; an understanding of the systematic classification of the examined topics; the critical reasoning; the quality of the exposition and the competence in the use of the specialized vocabulary.
The grades are on a scale out of 30.
