Learning outcomes
Physiology:
The objective of the advanced physiology module is to address some significant aspects of the functions of human apparatuses and systems. The interaction mechanisms between the various human systems and their relevance for medical systems will also be analyzed.
Medical statistics
The course aims to provide the basic theoretical and practical tools to synthesize the information collected on a sample of subjects, calculate the probability of one or more events of health interest, generalize the information collected on a sample of subjects to the population of origin . The teaching therefore aims to provide skills in the field of bio-statistics. At the end of the course the student will have to demonstrate that he has understood the basic statistical methods for the analysis of bio-medical data.
