Learning outcomes

Knowledge of the constitutional law in which are placed the rules for the protection of Italian cultural heritage and knowledge of the sources of law in the subject; study of the Code of Cultural Goods and analysis of primary precepts about protection and valorization of the cultural goods, also in their historical evolution.

Program

Pre-requisites: nothing.

Course content:
Part I (institutions and principles):
- the constitutional principles and the sources of law
- general principles of the cultural heritage’ protection in Italy
- the legal concept of cultural good
- the public institutions protecting cultural goods
Part II (study of the main articles of the Code of Cultural Goods):
- the cultural goods’ identification
- the mode of conserving and protecting the cultural goods
- the movement of cultural goods
- the cultural heritage’s valorisation
