M-PED/01 - PEDAGOGY, THEORIES OF EDUCATION AND SOCIAL EDUCATION

Learning outcomes

The course aims to present the pedagogy as educational theory and deepen specifically the terms and topics that are useful to reflect on educational practices and develop continuous learning that comes from experience.
The course objectives are as follows:
- Reflect on the educational work as continuous learning that is generated by the experience
- Promote critical thinking to guide towards the development of educational and pedagogical skills
- Identify methodologies, strategies, educational practices to operate in an educational context
- Recognise and improve the specific skills of the reflective practitioner in educational-sports field

Program

The course aims to promote critical thinking that can guide towards the development of educational and pedagogical skills which fosters the practice of professional sports in the workplace as a community of practice and learning, in the perspective of lifelong learning. The fundamental themes pedagogy will form the generative structure of a reflective thought on education. The thematic core around which will develop the course will be:
- The foundations and sources of educational science
- Educational work and educational relationship
- The attitude of the reflective practitioner
- The professional culture and skills of the professional sportsman
